Speaker Reel

I speak and do workshops all over the world on the topics of community building. social entrepreneurship and disruption.

How To Build Your
Dream Community

I spent the last 2 years writing a book that answers the question, "How the heck do I find my people?!" We live in a confusing time where 1 in 4 Americans report they have zero friends to confide in. This book is both a philosophy book introducing dozens of new concepts and a practical guide to find real friends and build your dream community.

I share tips, tricks and methods my team and I developed at Daybreaker to grow our movement to 25 cities around the world with a community of almost half a million people and in my own personal life where I went from feeling like I didn't belong to a community that gives me wings every day. My goal is to give you a simple guide and blueprint to create the life and community of your dreams. Let's GO!

My Bio

Radha is a community force. She is the co-Founder, CEO and Chief Community Architect of Daybreaker, the early morning dance and wellness move-ment that currently holds events in 25 cities and over a dozen college campuses around the world with a community of almost half a million people. She is a successful entrepreneur (Co-Founder THINX, LiveItUp), author, globe trotting speaker, DJ, inventor, and investor.

Her new book BELONG answers the questions, "how the heck do I find my people?" and "How do I create large and meaningful communities in the real world?". She spent 18 months synthesizing her key methods for community building, peeling back the curtain on exactly what she and her team did (and continues to do) at Daybreaker so that anyone interested in creating their own community could have a blueprint for how to do it.

She was named by MTV as “one of 8 women who will change the world.” Radha lives in Brooklyn NY with her love Eli (a baby on the way) and her twin sister Miki – and lots of family and friends within a few blocks. You can most often find her tinkering with new social experiments, community and experience design projects, speaking around the world, or on the dance floor at Daybreaker in New York City (if she’s not dancing at sunrise in another part of the world.)

My Investments

I invest in epic startups changing the world. 70% of my investments have at least 1 female co-founder.

SUPER SPROWTZ

Founder / CEO for 5 years

I founded a children's nutrition edu-tainment program called Super Sprowtz that supported hundreds of thousands of elementary school children around the US and Puerto Rico. Super Sprowtz got kids excited about eating their vegetables through innovative storytelling, puppetry and animation.

In the five years that I ran it, I wrote 5 children's books, produced 100+ videos, designed puppets a la Sesame Street to teach kids about healthy eating, created the first salad bar program in schools all over the country including the city of Compton's first ever salad bar program in English and Spanish. I co-wrote a curriculum and ran a comprehensive Cornell University Study showing an increase in 250% in kids eating their vegetables when storytelling and creativity were attached to it.

I had a Super Sprowtz permanent exhibit at the Children's Museum of Manhattan for 4 years and worked with Michelle Obama and Sam Kass on their Let's Move! Initiative. We were impacting hundreds of thousands of children around the world.

The woman behind the morning dance party craze

The company is, in a word, genius.

You cannot escape morning-rave culture. The rhythm is going to get you.

By 7:05 the dance floor is filled with hundreds of people. It’s the most energized, alive, connected dance experience I've ever seen.

What's exciting about Daybreaker is that it fosters this community where entrepreneurs can be creative.

…a powerful, funny, generous, talented woman doing good things

Her story ignites an often silenced conversation around being a woman in business

This [Daybreaker] is way better than coffee.

There’s an outcropping of excitement for interactivity and real community experiences.

… safety, happiness, positivity and health are the overall themes that bring Miki, Radha, and all of their endeavors together

Radha Agrawal is a renaissance woman!

Radha Agrawal’s Daybreaker empire is changing the world, one early morning dance party at a time.
